An Innovative Approach to Eradicating Aquatic Invasive Weeds using Shortwave Light
John J. Paoluccio of Inventive Resources Inc.
Paoluccio has developed an innovative system using short-wavelength ultraviolet (UV-C) light to eradicate aquatic invasive weeds. He will provide an update on the progress being made by the Tahoe Resource Conservation District using his invention this summer at Lakeside Beach and Marina in South Lake Tahoe. The pilot study is being funded by SB630 funds generated by California lakefront owners' pier and buoy rent.
This member-only event will take place on Monday, August 7, from Noon to 2 PM, at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, Nevada. Reservations are required by Monday, July 31.
